Right to Read Week

This week was Right to Read Week. We had many fun activities including: author visits, dressing as story book characters, guests readers, and buddy reading with other grades (see photos). Thanks Mrs. Wallace and Miss Jackson for planning such a fun week!

We are completing many of our end-of-year assessments for report cards and the students are doing a phenomenal job! Keep up the good work kindergarteners. Reminder: if you have not paid school fees, please do so in order to recieve your child's report card.

Next week will be focused on science and social studies. We have many exciting activities planned. I can't wait!

Also, next Friday is Field Day. Please be sure to have your child wear gym shoes and comfy clothes. All children are allowed to wear a hat, and I encourage you to send water bottles and make sure they have plenty of sunscreen on. We are supposed to have a warm, sunny day, according to the forecast this morning. Great news!

If any parent has a wagon that you would be willing to let me borrow for the day (to hold water bottles), please let me know. I would really appreciate it!

Have a super weekend!
