Hello! The class enjoyed Dr. Seuss week! We read many fablulous Dr. Seuss books, including The Foot Book. After reading, we traced one another's feet and created a list of the many things we do with our feet (walk, run, skip, etc.). On Wednesday, (the anniversary of his birthday). we had birthday treats. Yum!
In math, we practiced many skills, including counting on and creating numbers in various ways. We used beads to explore the various ways to make 5--four and one, and three and two. The students really enjoyed the lesson: see the picture above.
