Wow! What a beautiful day! I hope that the weather stays this nice so that everyone can enjoy our four-day weekend.
The students had a fantastic time at their Valentine's Day parties. (See photo above.) The boys and girls became the Princesses and Princes of Hearts for the day! They loved their crowns and looked very regal. Thanks to all of you who helped make the party a success! The treat bags were filled with goodies, and the craft was a hit. Thank you to the "room moms" who volunteered to help with the festivities. The students are still talking about how much fun they had.
The short week has moved quickly and next week will be another short week. This week we "met" the sight word "she," and next week, we will concentrate on "is." We continue to focus on writing sentences with the correct structure. The students are creating some interesting sentences! I am so impressed with their progress.
