Today we are officially one-fourth of the way through the school year! The students are making such wonderful progress--I am so proud of them! I am looking forward to more wonderful work in the next three quarters.
This week, we practiced our numbers from 1-10: counting, writing, and comparing. We had fun with fairy tales and worked on our reading comprehension skills. The students are doing well understanding the definitions of "plot," "character," and "setting." Impressive! We are still practicing letter sounds and have advanced from naming the first sound in a word to the final sound in a word.
