We have certainly had an interesting week! The weather has been wild, and we have been learning many new things. We discuessed the scientific concept of needs and wants. The students jumped into addition with enthusiasm. I am so proud of how quickly they are learning to add and show their work. We are writing sentences independently each Thursday. I am impressed with the number of students have mastered the concept of writing a sentence. Many remember their punctuation and spacing. The students are also working on sounding out words they don't know. It's fantastic!
This morning, students from Cincinnati Public Schools came to visit. Six students read to the students and shared coloring pages with the class. Thanks to the students for visiting!
